Trout in the Classroom update: At the present time there are six teachers with our equipment. Three of them currently have eggs from the Fillmore Hatchery and they are hatching.
The teachers are Kent Huston at Ojai Elementary, and Adam Gamboa and David Haynes at Channel Islands High School. I have contacted all of them and offered any assistance they might need.
Four new teachers to TIC in Oxnard are going to release their trout on Feb. 24 at Castaic Lake. They asked me to see if any of the club would be interested in helping. Back in the day members would come with me and teach fly casting, bugs, fly making, take photos, etc.
